ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through all requirements necessary to enter UNE's Online Master of Science in Education programs, CAGS program, or Graduate Certificate programs.
Applications are accepted throughout the year, with six convenient program start dates in January, March, May, June, September and November.
Master of Science in Education
Students desiring admission to the MSEd Program must meet the following minimum application requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum of a one year teaching experience
- A valid license or certificate to teach
- Currently employed as a teacher, or have access to a classroom on a regular basis, educational leaders, and groups of faculty.
- Submit a goal statement
You don't have to wait until you earn your degree to see the benefits of UNE's MSEd program. Many students see immediate benefits shortly after beginning program. They find that they can take what they learn and begin to apply it immediately in the classroom.
Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study
If you desire admission to the CAGS program you must meet the following minimum application requirements:
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum of three years teaching experience
- A valid license or certificate to teach
- Currently employed as a teacher, or have access to classroom on a regular basis
- Submit a goal statement
Graduate Certificates
If you desire admission to one of the Graduate Certificate programs you must meet the following minimum application requirements:
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum of three years teaching experience
- A valid license or certificate to teach
- Currently employed as a teacher, or have access to classroom on a regular basis
- Submit a goal statement
