CERTIFICATE OF ADVANCED GRADUATE STUDY (CAGS)
If your goals include an upper-level administrator position or you need additional college credit to qualify for the next pay grade, and you already have your Master’s degree, consider our Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Advanced Educational Leadership. The CAGS is a post-master's degree program of study leading to an educational administrative credential but also can be used to strengthen leadership abilities in master teachers.
The CAGS is a 30-credit program of further course work necessary to attain school administrative licensure beyond the entry level of Assistant Principal or Principal.

The 15-credit Graduate Certificates are ideal for those professional educators who need additional college credit to qualify for the next pay grade or would like to expand their knowledge in Curriculum & Instruction Strategies, Educational Leadership, Inclusion Education, or Literacy (K-12).
Concentrations:
- Curriculum & Instruction Strategies (15 Hours)
The Curriculum & Instruction Strategies concentration is for those K-12 educators who wish to focus on strengthening their classroom in the challenging areas of literacy and inclusion with a course on educational leadership to build skills for implementing solutions beyond the classroom. - Educational Leadership (15 Hours)
The Educational Leadership concentration is designed for K-12 educators who are considering school administration. - Inclusion Education (15 Hours)
The Inclusion Education concentration is designed for those regular educators, both teachers and administrators, who wish to have more background in special education with respect to inclusion practices and concerns. - Literacy (K-12) (15 Hours)
The Literacy (K-12) concentration is designed for those K-12 educators who wish to delve deeper into the importance of reading and writing for all students to be successful.
