Dr. Carol Marcotte completed her doctorate in School Administration & Supervision at Berne University International Graduate School in St. Kitts, West Indies. Her primary specialty areas include literacy and educational leadership. In addition to working as a classroom teacher and adjunct professor, Carol has over four years experience as a principal. She has served as board member and president of the Maine ASCD and among her numerous honors, Carol was presented the Maine Family Literacy Grant in 2006 by First Lady Barbara Bush. In 2010 Carol was acknowledged as Curriculum Leader of the Year in Maine by the Maine Curriculum Leaders Association and she became a Board Member of the New England Staff Development Council, an affiliate of the National Staff Development Council.
